Buyer(Barrie Area)

An MRO Buyer is required for our client, a recognized leader in their Manufacturing field. Negotiate, prepare and review proposals, contracts and supplier agreements. Coordinates and oversees all activities related to the procurement of MRO, services and Capital Equipment beginning with intent to purchase through to delivery. Analyzes the requirements for materials and services including preliminary specifications, potential suppliers and date the commodity or service is needed.
Two to 3 years purchasing experience in manufacturing, actively working towards CPP or PMAC designation.
